We have presented more than 300 in-person singalong shows at assisted living and memory care facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Now, thanks to a grant from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), we are extending our singalongs programming to include free community singalong shows.
Date: Thursday, November 3.
Time: 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
Location: Palace Theatre, 300 S. Main St., Grapevine, TX 76051
About the Event:
Join us for an uplifting night of music and comedy, featuring entertainers from Nashville and Branson.
Johnny Meyer, a frequent headliner at Nashville’s Station Inn, connects story and song in a lively blend of bluegrass and American roots music, including songs from his debut album, Porchlight. Johnny’s five-member band will include singer-songwriter Mary Meyer. An award-winning mandolin player, Mary plays with the all-female bluegrass group Sister Sadie and the legendary country group Diamond Rio.
Ted Cunningham, from Branson, Missouri, is a comedian on the Date Night Comedy Tour and the author of A Love That Laughs: Lighten Up, Cut Loose, and Enjoy Life Together.
Jimmy & Cheyenne grew up playing bluegrass in successful family bands. When not playing as a duo, the recently married couple performs with That Dalton Gang, a band Cheyenne started in 2010.
Songs & Smiles co-founder Eric Kolb, accompanied by pianist David Meyer, will perform songs from the Great American Songbook.
Sponsorship Opportunities start at $250 and include VIP tickets to the event.
Tickets: Reserved seating. $50 per ticket. Purchase tickets here.
Our singalongs feature an engaging singer plus video display of easy-to-read lyrics.
