We have presented more than 400 in-person singalong shows at assisted living and memory care facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Now, thanks to a grant from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), we are extending our singalongs programming to include free community singalong shows.
We held a Songs & Smiles Benefit Concert at the Palace Theatre in Grapevine on November 3, 2022. Branson comedian Ted Cunningham opened the show, followed by music from Jimmy & Cheyenne from That Dalton Gang. Then Eric Kolb, our Executive Director, sang a few songs accompanied by David Meyer on the keyboard. Before intermission, we debuted a Songs & Smiles video on the big screen. After intermission, Johnny Meyer & Friends took the stage for more great music.
Thank you to our volunteers and sponsors and everyone who helped make that event memorable!
